If you find you are constantly pencilling your brows in to get the look you desire, are constantly tinting your brows or you are unhappy with the shape or thickness of your brows then this treatment is for you!

You will need to apply a numbing cream (EMLA- available from your local pharmacy) at least an hour before coming in for your treatment. Once you arrive for your appointment we use a medical grade numbing cream to make sure that this treatment is as comfortable as possible. We will be reapplying the fast acting anaesthetic throughout the entire treatment.

As Microblading doesn't go as deep as traditional tattooing, (we are treating in the epidermis,  the top layer of the skin), the treatment is not as uncomfortable as a normal tattoo.

Initially you will need to have two treatments to get the desired result, some people with little or no eyebrows may need a third. We do these 4-6 weeks apart, Following your initial tattoo appointments you will need to have a touch up every 12-14 months to keep the desired look.  

• Avoid washing your new brows for 7-14 days following treatment.
• Avoid using exfoliants, swimming pools, the beach, steam rooms, saunas for at least 14 days. Following this, always apply Vaseline to the brows.
• You will be given a pot of Medicare cream at your first appointment. Use the recommended Medicare cream every 2 hours on the first day and then 2-5 times a day for 14 days following treatment. With each application, wipe over the area with a clean damp cotton pad to remove cream previously applied. Then using a clean cotton tip, apply a thin layer of your recommended Medicare cream. The area must be kept moist with the Medicare cream for 14 days to avoid excessive scabbing and allow correct healing of the treated area.
• Do not touch the treated area with your hands and keep your hair away from the area for 14 days to avoid infection.
• Some itching is normal as the skin is healing. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you do not touch, scratch, pick or rub the area as this will result in excessive loss of pigment and the colour will heal unevenly. Allow the scabs to flake away naturally.
• Do not have facial or brow treatments for 7-14 days following this treatment
• No makeup or regular creams should be applied to the area for 14 days.
• Avoid using AHA, BHA or Retinol skincare on the area as these ingredients can fade your tattoo.
• Avoid direct sunlight (always use SPF except for the first 14 days)
• If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan please inform the technician of your tattoo.
• If you are planning to donate blood please inform the National Blood Services of your tattoo as you may not be eligible to donate for a year post application.
